I haven't been putting anything up in a while because I've been doing lots of practice work. I spend an hour doing a self portrait now nearly ever night. I also draw from my bridgemans guide to lifedrawing every day for about an hour. then for the other few hours of the day if I'm not working or sometimes even if I am I'll work on a landscape or do a still life. I'm noticing that doing a self portrait every day greatly improves your skill at it. I'm focusing more on landscape paintings right now in an attempt to get work into juried exhibitons and art galleries. So far I have three paintings in the Art gallery of hamilton but thats that only place I've tried for so, so far so good. Matt I'l get oyu that picture of your painting soon enough. I've been really lazy about it so I'll get that up here pronto.
