I haven't been putting anything up in a while because I've been doing lots of practice work. I spend an hour doing a self portrait now nearly ever night. I also draw from my bridgemans guide to lifedrawing every day for about an hour. then for the other few hours of the day if I'm not working or sometimes even if I am I'll work on a landscape or do a still life. I'm noticing that doing a self portrait every day greatly improves your skill at it. I'm focusing more on landscape paintings right now in an attempt to get work into juried exhibitons and art galleries. So far I have three paintings in the Art gallery of hamilton but thats that only

Got some landscape's and portraits. Starting to move away from the sutdy of landscapes, and going into portraits and figures. Also finally found the flippin contrast/birghtness button in photoshop. So I've updated my older paintings to look better. And these new ones have all been beefed up as well of course. Enjoy these new paintings! (My fav would be the swan landscape, although one I'm working on now I'm doing and excellent job of the main figure. This will be up soon)

I'm gonna be putting up a couple of new paintings in a week or two. There'll be a few landscape paintings and a nice and evil surreal piece :). I'd like to try and get a hold of a better camera but what's an artist to do, I'll just have to survive for now. In the not so close, not so far future though I'm probably just gonna get em proffesionally photographed so I could sell prints. Anyways, watch out for some new paintings on the horizan!
